The Pro case: lowest platform fee
At £49.99/month, Pro pays for itself quickly for any artist with regular sales. On a £500 sale, Core would cost you £75 in platform fees, Premium £40. Pro costs just £25, keeping £475.
For artists actively using the platform and generating consistent venue enquiries, Pro is the commercially obvious choice.

The platform fee is the percentage Wallplace takes when a sale is made through the platform, whether that's a venue purchasing work outright, or a customer buying directly from a venue display. It is separate from your membership cost. Core artists pay 15%, Premium 8%, and Pro artists pay 5%, so our fees run 5 to 15% depending on plan. You keep the rest.
Core covers 3 new venue approaches a week, Premium 6, and Pro 15. The allowance is shared: placement requests, the first message you send a venue, and artwork request responses all draw on the same pool, so you can spend it however suits you. It runs on a rolling 7 days rather than resetting on a fixed day, so an approach you made last Tuesday comes back to you this Tuesday. Replying to a venue that has already replied to you is always free and never counts. You can see what you have left on any venue's request form.
Yes. Every approved artist gets their first month at no cost, on any tier. You can start with Core and upgrade later, or begin on Premium or Pro. The first month is always free. After that, billing begins on your chosen plan.
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your billing page. You check out for the new plan, it starts straight away, and your old plan is cancelled as soon as the new one is running.
No. We are a platform that connects artists with venues, we do not guarantee placement in any specific venue. What we do is ensure your profile is in front of venues that are actively looking for artwork, and we work to match you with the right spaces for your practice.
You can cancel with 30 days' written notice, by email or from your account settings. Your membership remains active until the end of the notice period. You collect any artwork on display with venues within 30 days of cancelling, and your profile is then removed from the platform. No cancellation fees.
No hidden fees. Your monthly membership and the platform fee on sales are the only costs. Delivery, framing, and any materials are your own costs as an artist. Wallplace does not add charges for these.
