About the Artist
Tom has spent the last six years systematically photographing every park, canal towpath, cemetery, and forgotten green space within the M25. What started as a personal project became a sustained artistic practice exploring London's relationship with nature. Based in Dalston, he shoots primarily at dawn, often cycling to locations while the city sleeps. Tom works with a large-format 4x5 camera, giving his images a depth and detail that rewards close viewing. His ongoing series 'Wild London' has been published as a book by Hoxton Mini Press and featured in Time Out, Huck Magazine, and The Guardian. He's particularly interested in how bringing images of green spaces into cafes and restaurants can shift the atmosphere of a room.
