Samir grew up in Rusholme, Manchester, a neighbourhood of extraordinary visual density, and his illustration practice is a direct response to that upbringing. He works entirely digitally, building compositions in Adobe Illustrator that layer architectural observation with pattern, texture, and colour references drawn from South Asian design traditions. His prints are produced as museum-quality giclée on heavyweight paper, in limited editions. Samir has been commissioned by Manchester City Council, Transport for Greater Manchester, and several hospitality groups. He is a regular exhibitor at New Designers and has work in collections across the North of England.
