Raised on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, Liam O'Sullivan grew up surrounded by one of Europe's most spectacular coastal landscapes. He studied Fine Art at Edinburgh College of Art and chose to remain in the city, where the proximity of wild Scottish scenery sustains his practice. He makes regular painting trips to the West of Ireland, the Hebrides, and Northumberland, returning with sketchbooks full of oil studies that he develops into large finished canvases in the studio. His work sits in collections across Ireland, the UK, and the United States and he has been exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy.
